Loot.com began back in 1985 as the UK's first free-ads paper. Hard to imagine a paper full of ads being groundbreaking, but that's exactly what it was. Just look at how many copycats there have been since.  We're part of Associated Newspapers which publishes various titles including the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, Evening Standard and Metro.


Today Loot run a number of local editions across the UK, including Manchester, Liverpool and London. Online, loot.com is growing fast. It's a simple, easy-to-use website that works just like the paper. Anyone can log on at any time to place an ad which will appear both online and offline. And with a whole host of other useful features, it's fast becoming the classifieds site.
