specialist in-work support
To ensure that we deliver effective tailored support packages to people with disabilities and health related issues, we undertake an initial evaluation of each individual to ascertain the best support arrangements required. This is usually in the form of an Individual Development Plan which is agreed between the customer and our support worker.
Support can be delivered by a variety of means, whether through our on-site care programme, telephone or email based remote support. In addition, we are able to offer individually tailored face-to-face support for those customers with complex needs.
Our specialist support workers are able to cover a range of roles from basic job aides or jobs coaches who would help the employee with the elements of the job that could be impacted or affected by their disability.
Other more specialist support roles that are available would include dyslexia specialist, mental health mentor and aspergers mentors who would support with specific learning difficulties or mental health impairments.
This individual approach to tailored in-work support has proven to increase retention and improve sustainment outcomes for our partners.
