The imminent opening of an industrial plant in Salford will create 30 new jobs in north west England.NuLife Glass, a Midlands-based recycling and research firm, is planning to open a new facility in the Greater Manchester city at the Fairhills Business Park in January, the Business Desk reported.
The recycling plant will use the company's innovative system that extracts lead from the glass in waste TVs, which was developed following new legislation outlawing lead from landfill sites.
Simon Greer, founder of NuLife Glass, expressed excitement that the company's plans are finally being realised.
He told the news provider: "Nulife has found the answer to a global recycling crisis and we know the business is going to succeed and go from strength to strength. We just need the right team in place now."
Last week, the US manufacturing giant SPX Corporation announced that it would be creating 160 jobs in the north west of England by opening a shared service centre in Manchester.
