Our client seeks a experienced radiographer to deliver a high quality of diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of patient care. To deliver high quality general X-ray, mobile and theatre procedures. Rotation into other diagnostic modalities including CT and Cath lab.
- Skillfully provide accurate diagnostic imaging services -Achieve and maintain high standards of practice within the department -Comply with legislative and hospital policies and procedure, ensuring patient safety -Practice a high level of customer care -Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency -To provide a portable service to wards and departments -To rotate between areas as required -To maintain X ray records and archived images -Assist in staff orientation and training -To report all equipment faults -Participating on the on-call rota
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
- Educated to A level standard -Diploma of the Society of Radiographers (or above) -CPSM registration -3 years post qualification experience -Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures -Good verbal and non verbal communication skill -Accuracy and attention to detail -Flexibility to respond to the needs of the department -Good team player -Evidence of professional/personal development Customer care skills Prioritizing workloads
