Randstad Business Support are currently recruiting for an experienced outsourcing payroll professional who is looking to progress their career within a professional services organisation.
Job Responsibilities
• Producing pay runs for multiple clients on a regular basis
• Building and maintaining good relationships with clients liaising on payroll, employment and other matters
• Providing a technical support service to the organisation and its clients on client payroll and PAYE matters.
• Preparing returns and managing a large scale reporting process.
• Data handling for clients and preparing reports and documentation.
• Maintaining accurate and concise record systems.
• Assist in the induction and training of new payroll assistants when required.
• Identifying problem areas and suggesting solutions/seeking advice for solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the PAYE system.
• Accurate and methodical with a keen eye for detail.
• Committed to providing an outstanding level of service.
• Have the ability to manage multiple tasks whilst working towards strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experienced in running multiple payrolls, processing pensions and employee expenses.
• Technical knowledge of Star Payroll, Sage Payroll and support software desired.
• Studying for, or willing to study for an IPP qualification.
