job description
As a cnc machinist you will be setting and operating multi-axis CNC machines in the manufacturing of transmissions for various plant machines
- Program CNC Machines
- Set CNC Machines
- Set Tooling including Re-Tip and DTI checking
- Operate CNC Machines including loading and unloading
- Inspection of your own work
- Use of measuring equipment, including micrometers and verniers
- Balance test and grinding wheels.
Preferred Skills
- Typically between 3 to 5 years Machining experience within an automotive / heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- Experience of using and setting CNC Machines.

Benefits
This role will be to start on mornings whilst training, once training is complete you will then move to your permanent shift of either afternoons or nights
Normal working week is 37 hours
