Job Title: Senior Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Co. Armagh
Sector: Food Manufacturing (FMCG)
Salary: £30-35,000
Sourcing on behalf of a leading European food manufacturer Randstad are keen to hear from experienced Maintenance Supervisors. This is a permanent position. The purpose of the role is to ensure the maintenance and up keep of plant machinery while also ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Engineering manager and working closely with the factory manager, shift supervisors the responsibilities of the role will include:
• Manage the work activities of the maintenance team
• Prioritise and manage all PPM activities within the plant
• Remain fully conversant with plant operations and processes
• Ensure all related equipment manuals are up to date
• Ensure all machines, processes and operations meet the standards of H&S legislations (NI)
• Maintain focus on workplace safety and that any accidents or incidents are recorded in detail
• Provide specialist advice and support whenever necessary for any specialist projects
Preferred Skills
• Minimum 2nd class degree in mechanical/electrical/manufacturing engineering discipline
• Previous experience maintaining and repairing a range of capital equipment
• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, and of safety requirements in the maintenance and repair of same
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and H&S legislations
• Work-based experience in leading a team would be advantageous
• Previous experience in an FMCG / Food manufacturing highly desirable
