This company specialises in importing and selling men’s and women’s high end fashion through their retail outlets in London and internet site to their customers across the UK, Europe and Asia and the US. As this company has seen an increase in business, they are now looking for an Goods In Team Leader to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis based out of their new distribution centre in Clapham.
The purpose of this role is to manage the inbound process and team members to ensure all KPI’s and targets are achieved for Goods in, pre-retail, transfers and returns.
You will be responsible for:
- Management of inbound team members daily allocation and monitoring of tasks and duties
- Performance management including appraisals and coaching
- Management of the inbound process
- Notify appropriate departments when supplier non-conformance or shortages/over supply are found
- Ensure all supplier deliveries are received, checked, processed and stored accordingly
- Management of returns process
- Providing reports/updates to Logistics and Warehouse Manager
- Ensuring compliance to health and safety is met
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Previous Inbound Goods experience with a good understanding of the process/system of running an efficient inbounds department
- Team leader or supervisory experience
- Good communication skills
- Planning and coordination experience
- Keen interest in the retail/fashion industry
This role will be working on a rotating shift pattern – covering days and nights.
