Our client, a leading wholesaler, seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor to assist the warehouse team leader to manage the back shift warehouse picking & replenishment operation.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with the daily management of the backshift picking & replenishment team
• Monitor pick levels to ensure maximum accuracy & efficiency within the team
• Lead by example with an enthusiastic approach to shift requirements & targets
• Responsible for all aspects of stock control
• Order processing
• Provide a high standard of customer service & have the ability to handle customer enquiries & complaints
• Maintain high levels of hygiene
• Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are complied with
Preferred Skills:
• Proven experience in a warehouse environment preferably within the wholesale or retail industry
• A minimum 2 years experience managing/supervising a team
• Counterbalance & Reach forklift licences highly desirable
• Experience of systems such as BCP & telnet, MS office and hand held scanners would be a distinct advantage
