Job Responsibilities:
This is a Five Star property centrally located on Piccadilly and is one of London's most elegant and traditional hotels.
As Sous Chef your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, hiring, training, scheduling and directing all culinary staff; visually inspecting all food product to be served to ensure they all meet the quality standards set out be Departmental and Hotel management; ensure proper receiving and storage of food products so as to comply with health department regulations; and adherence to all cost and quality control procedures.
Your Responsibilities:
This is a great opportunity to work in a large 5 star Kitchen. The ideal candidate has the passion for food and the desire to learn. Your responsibilities will be to assist and ensure best practices in the kitchen.
Preferred Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a 4 or 5 Star kitchen working in banqueting as a Junior Sous Chef ready for the next career step up or you will be Sous Chef looking for a dynamic career change.
Personal Attributes:
Candidates that are trained to NVQ level 1/2 for food are preferred but not essential. Must be a team player and able to work varying shifts.
