This company specialises in Precision Engineering for the automotive industry and with a pickup in business they are now looking to recruit more talent. We are looking for an experienced and qualified CNC Programmer (Milling) to join their team in South East London
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- CNC programming (milling) experience
- Experience working to very tight tolerances
- Batch production experience – therefore be able to work quickly with a sense of urgency
- Experience using vertical, horizontal and multi axle lathes
- Experience using multi twin spindle machines (advantageous)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating Fanuc controlled machines (online & offline) to produce a variety of products
- Interpreting technical information and checking for errors
- Quality checking all produced items according to specification and quality standards
- Programme, set and operate CADCAM lathes
Personal Attributes:
- Must have high attention to detail (Essential)
- Responsible and takes ownership of work done
- Team player and happy to assist where required
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills
You will be working on a day shift from Monday to Friday with some OT and/or weekend work available when required.
This is a permanent position so we are looking for someone who would like to grow with the company and develop their skills.
