About Our Client
Our client are a leading distribution company with over 20 years experience in their field. Due to recent plans to expand their European presence they are looking to recruit a fluent French speaker to increase sales within their Export Department.
Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager as a member of the warehouse management team taking responsibility for ensuring all warehouse activities are managed and co-ordinated effectively, achieving and improving target levels of productivity and service, whilst maximising optimum use of resources.
Stock Control, Sales Order Picking and Despatch
Quality service levels
Systems Implementation
Process improvement and change management
Project Management
KPI performance and management reporting
Driving improved efficiencies and measurable controls
Warehouse Management System
Warehouse administration team
Health & Safety and Hygiene Standards
Deputise for Warehouse Operations Manager
Site Security duties
Preferred Skills:
Must have a warehouse management background in a customer orientated, fast paced, next day, high volume SME business.
Personal Attributes:
Forward thinking and driven to continually challenge and improve work processes and cost efficiencies across 3 sites.
Highly analytical with sound IT and project management skills.
A sound understanding of the cost base and financial impact of effective warehouse management.
Strong commercial awareness and experience of budgeting and KPI reporting.
Excellent team leadership and people management qualities with a “hands on” proactive approach.
Determination, tenacity with a desire to succeed and ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
Ability to communicate at all levels and a flexible approach.
