I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a customer focussed income manager, who is able to provide an excellent service both internally and externally. Working in a busy environment you will be resposible for working closely with your team to maintain a consistent focus and service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage a team of income officers to deliver an effective, income collection service.

  • Consistently review best practice, benchmarking and inspection reports to ensure good practice.

  • Develop and maintain partnerships, both internally and externally, to maximise the impact of joint working throughout the team

  • To collect, analyse and produce regular performance information for circulation to a variety of audiences.

  • Contribute to effective budgetary management and control.

  • Identify opportunities for training and development of staff within your team.

  • Work in supporting Directors and senior managers to achieve the future vision of the company and ensure the successful implementation of operational and strategic plans.

  • Ensure that all appropriate financial, operational and strategic objectives are delivered within agreed timeframes.

  • Set clear expectations of all individuals and discuss performance on a regular basis.

  • Motivate and enhance performance and meet customer expectations.

  • Participate in the selection of key staff for your department and administer disciplinary and grievance matters as the role requires.


Profile:

You will display:
  • Experience of working in a performance culture.

  • The ability to deliver on key objectives by motivating, managing and directing your team.

  • Experience of writing reports and presenting to a variety of audiences at a senior level.

  • A flexibile approach to work and working hours

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of the housing sector, and developments within social housing
