About Our Client
Our client, a leading employer currently located in Swindon, Wiltshire have an exciting career opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join their UK team.
- Please note that this position will be located within Swindon, Wiltshire throughout 2012 but will then be re-locating to Manchester, therefore candidates must be prepared to work in both locations. Initially the succesful candidate will be required to work from Swindon 2 days per week and travel costs will be paid
Job Responsibilities:
Development and execution of timely & cost efficient segment and portfolio marketing/sales strategies
Construction of plans to impact on growth/contribution targets
Improvement of marketing and distribution processes/segment solutions
Analysis of appropriate product mix, pricing and monthly results to initiate corrective measures
Management of product portfolio
Creation of segment plans
Understanding the voice of the customer/business
Understanding of trends, changes in customer behaviour, market share, competitors activities, laws/regulations
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor Degree within Marketing/Business or Economics and/or a Masters in Marketing or Business Management (Desirable)
Substantial professional experience working in a B2B environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including cross-cultural negotiation experience
Proficient with all Microsoft applications, in particular PowerPoint. Excel & Word
Another European language capability desirable.
Mature analytical skills
Highly developed knowledge of marketing principles, application and brand management
Strong understanding of market dynamics, services & enterprise technology
