Our client is a leading Metal Manufacturer specialising in producing metals for the engineering and construction industries. Due to demand they are expanding and require a Production Manager (Metallurgy bias) to join their ever growing team in Hereford.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the production and performance levels
- Monitor targets and key performance indicators of production team
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Report operational activity to senior management
- Set KPI’s for production staff
- Carrying out attendance and performance reviews and where appropriate carrying out disciplinary meetings
- Identify improvements and requirements to increase production and reduce costs
Preferred Skills:
- HND/Degree Qualified in an Engineering or Manufacturing Science Discipline - Metallurgy (Advantageous)
- Understanding of Metals and minerals (Essential)
- Problem solving through innovation
Personal Attributes:
- Good communicator, capable of driving change of continuous improvement
- Ability to influence a team to achieve desired results

The shifts are 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
