Our client is a leading Metal Manufacturer specialising in producing metals for the engineering and construction industries. Due to demand they are expanding and require a Production Manager (Metallurgy bias) to join their ever growing team in Hereford.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing the production and performance levels

  • Monitor targets and key performance indicators of production team

  • Financial analysis and reporting

  • Report operational activity to senior management

  • Set KPI’s for production staff

  • Carrying out attendance and performance reviews and where appropriate carrying out disciplinary meetings

  • Identify improvements and requirements to increase production and reduce costs


Preferred Skills:

  • HND/Degree Qualified in an Engineering or Manufacturing Science Discipline - Metallurgy (Advantageous)

  • Understanding of Metals and minerals (Essential)

  • Management experience

  • Proactive approach

  • Strategic outlook

  • Problem solving through innovation

  • Analytical

The shifts are 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
