Local Business Banking Manager
£26,000- £30,000 + competitive commission structure
Our client, one of the worlds leading financial institutions, are looking to recruit a number of local business managers, to help them achieve their vision of becoming the SME bank of choice.
As a Local Business Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
• Develop new customer relationships in the Business Banking sector and achieve agreed volume and value targets
• Manage a portfolio of existing customers increasing the depth of the relationship and level of product holding with the Bank by both fully understanding and meeting customer needs with appropriate products and services and providing excellent customer service
• Being the local subject matter expert for Branch colleagues and represent our clients Business Banking in the local business community by working with Key Business Influencers and raising the Bank’s profile.
As a Local Business Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• Face to face experience in dealing with small businesses and a strong preference for Business Banking experience in our target market of customers (sub £250,000 turnover p.a.)
• A comprehensive understanding of the financial and non-financial issues facing small business and being able to engage with and communicate with Business Banking customers with full credibility
• An ability to communicate effectively verbally and visually in the external and internal environment e.g. presentations to groups of KBIs (Key Business Influencers) e.g. Accountants, Business start-up agencies, networking groups (BNI etc) to gain new business for the Bank and raise the Bank's profile in the local business community
• Proven record of exceeding challenging business/sales and lending targets and developing profitable customer relationships whilst giving excellent customer service
