Our Client is a well established and highly successful Microsoft Gold Partner and is currently looking to recruit for an experienced IT Business Development Executive to be based at their local office in Birmingham. You must have a minimum of 2 years' telesales experience with a minimum of 12 months' selling IT services, managed solutions or software.
Job Responsibilities:
As an IT Business Development Executive, you will be:
- Cold calling businesses on the database – 125 calls per day
- Increasing activity and spend with existing customers
- Keeping up to date with market products via daily training sessions
- Using telephone, email, conference call to communicate with customers
- Following up all leads and keeping a strict daily diary
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in IT sales would be desirable, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in negotiating at high levels, e.g. MD’s
- English and Maths at GCSE standard or equivalent
- Must have experience working in a telesales or call centre environment
Personal Attributes:
- Warm and welcoming telephone manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must have ability to empathise and listen actively to customers’ needs
