Our client, a technology provider to the banking industry is seeking customer service advisors to work in their state-of-the art contact centre. They offer an award-winning working environment with plenty of opportunities for personal development and career advancement.
They are looking for a Direct Sales Executive to identify and convert new business prospects for Transax Merchant Services & Cheque Services via the telephone. To ensure individual sales targets are met.
Key Accountabilities:
- Securing sales via the telephone in order to achieve objectives
- Provide sales/activity log sheets to the sales administrator on a daily basis
- Maintain and develop a high level of product knowledge to enable effective, meaningful communication with prospects
- Provide weekly activity reports to the Manager and ensure sufficient KPI's are met
- Ensure follow up calls/emails to prospects are timely
- Accurate completion of Application forms
- Log all inbound calls and communicate responses to the Marketing team
Candidates will demonstrate or possess the following:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail & tenacity
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing
- The ability to work effectively both as a member of a team and on own initiative
- Excellent telephone manner
- Previous experience in Telesales/Telemarketing is preferred
- Outbound call centre experience within a B2B environment would be advantageous
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
