Our client, a leading international energy company, are looking for a senior marketing executive to work in their busy London offices for an initial three month contract. The main purpose of the role will be to develop and implement a marketing communication programme to support the multi-site operation of the company’s B2B division in order to meet its customer retention and acquisition targets objectives and enhance brand reputation in the B2B market.

Job Responsibilites:

As a senior marketing campaign executive, you will be expected to:

• In conjunction with the marketing & communications manager, ensure that the client’s visual brand identity and the core elements of the B2B customer proposition is consistently applied in all communications activities within B2B.
• Develop external and internal briefs and copy, as appropriate, in order to deliver agreed marketing communications. This will involve working with customer proposition teams, product managers, sales and customer service managers and conducting supplementary research where necessary.
• Working with external agencies to deliver cost effective marketing communications materials to agreed deadlines.
• Produce creative branded marketing communications materials such as factsheets, presentations and website pages in-house using industry benchmark software such as Photoshop and InDesign, and other bespoke software such as bespoke email marketing packages
• Reporting on campaign results and making recommendations to improve results of future activities.
• Plan and manage budgets on a per campaign basis to ensure campaign cost targets are achieved
• Effectively and represent good value for the business unit.
• Effectively manage and manipulate large customer data files for direct marketing (DM) activity.
• Work closely with communications professionals in other areas of the company to ensure consistency of message and keep abreast of company developments.
• Contribute to the review and development of the marketing communications plan in conjunction with the marketing communications manager.

Preferred Skills:

• Educated to degree level or relevant marketing qualification
• Ability to form and develop strong influential relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of offering a service, to internal or external customers, in a fast moving environment
• Strong written communication skills. Design & copywriting experience a distinct advantage. Attention to detail.
• Solid working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, and Word. Other creative and production packages such as Photoshop and InDesign a distinct advantage.
• Ability to research, digest and interpret information on technical subject matters
• Proven experience planning and managing communications projects from conception to delivery
• Experience managing events
