About Our Client

Our client a global diversified technology and industrial leader are looking to recruit a temporary Office Service Administrator to provide support on both front of house duties and office facilities including post room duties. Approx duration 5 weeks payrate £6.50 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide an efficient professional front of house customer focussed Reception Desk for staff, client and visitors.
• Record details of expected visitors, allocate and reserve relevant building passes so they are readily available to guest upon arrival.
• Issue relevant building and ID security passes in accordance with established data, request recipient return pass to reception prior to leaving site and advise subsequent procedure for non returned passes.
• Issue health and safety emergency evacuation procedures to first time visitors and new staff.
• Contact CSC security vetting to establish personnel level of security clearance and update records, issue passes in accordance with CSC procedures.
• Advise site health & safety officer of any on site personnel or visitor with impairment or disability.
• Courteously greet and ensure personnel are registered daily in the local database efficiently, familiarise and remember name and faces, especially senior and executive board staff.
• Assist all visiting staff and visitors with their requirements.
• Be available to direct visitors to their meeting point or host location and introduce when necessary.
• Issue and process relevant security forms for photographic ID and building pass. Arrange and ensure all new staff and contractors receive site Health & Safety induction, and advise security process, ensure paperwork is completed and records filed.
• Be security aware, report and action as necessary any issues and suspicious circumstances.

• Manage service disruptions in a seamless manner via effective use of team’s resources so as to maintain business as usual activity.
• Ability to motivate self and others, excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Previous experience in operating within a Customer Service environment providing Post Room or Office Services to the highest standard.
• Computer literate and competent in the use of IT systems including Microsoft.
• Punctual and reliable with a courteous manner
• Clean and smart appearance at all times
