Our client, one of the UK’s leading telecommunications and data distribution specialists are looking to recruit a Senior Account Manager to work out of the Leeds area.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Account Manager, your duties will include:
? To achieve and exceed all agreed sales targets and key performance measures.
? To develop and grow the existing customer base by means of regular contact including visiting customer premises to determine their requirements.
? To proactively target new business with field visits and to seek additional revenue streams.
? To be seen as a senior member of the team and assist other members of the division.
? Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities to meet short and medium term business plans.
? To qualify, maintain and log all bids and tenders as required from the customer base.
? Establish the company as a Primary supplier of communications to existing, miscellaneous and new accounts.
? Manage effectively the relationship between the company and the defined account base.
? React responsively and in a timely manner to customer queries and issues.
? Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships with all internal contacts.
? Fully understand and adhere to all relevant sales processes.
? Maintain high levels of appropriate product and service knowledge on current and future products.
? Maintain a knowledge of the industry and competitor activity to better promote your position.
? Regularly monitor the account base to better understand buying patterns and to identify opportunities.
? Maintain full, accurate, honest and timely records.
? Respond to management requests in a timely manner.
