Our client is an outsourcing company with an international presence, they are currently seeking a project officer to join their ICT team on an eleven month contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- supporting in the planning, delivery and development of the ICT strategy
- project management, to deliver large projects on time and to budget
- identifying improvement opportunities across the business
- projects relating to infrastructure, network, mobile working and web based self service projects
- maximising CRM development, enquiry workflows and telephone numbering strategies
- attending meetings with programme and project boards
- updating others on the progress of projects, producing reports and action plans
Preferred Skills:
- project management experience within an ICT environment
- graduate level academic, professional or vocational ICT qualification or equivalent training and experience
- ideally be Prince 2 qualified
- IT service management techniques (configuration management, problem management and change control)
- wide technical expertise to enable technical decision making

- ability to solve problems whilst working to tight deadlines
- strong communication both written and verbal
- customer focused with ability to develop working relationships
