Our client is one of the largest and most trusted banking and financial services organisations in the world and is currently recruiting for a Risk and Review Manager based in Bristol city centre. The Operational Risk management team is responsible for the work undertaken across Wealth Sservice Delivery sites to adhere to Group Standards and Regulation.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be required to:
· Control monitoring to ensure Wealth Sservice Delivery operates within the required regulatory framework, to Group standards and within the Group's operational risk appetite.
· Promote a Risk Management culture and provide guidance to Wealth Service Delivery on operational risk matters and related internal controls.
· You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the timely and comprehensive testing of key controls, the recording of findings and the identification/communication of resultant actions
· Where relevant, you will follow up with line managers’ progress on action items and you’ll be able to prioritise these using a risk basis approach.
Preferred Skills:
· Completed, or working towards, Certificate in Financial Administration (CF1 and FA1/FA2), or equivalent
· Completed, or working towards, Securities and Investment Institute Certificate in Investment Administration, or equivalent.
· Good understanding of operational risk and controls
· Good understanding of risk management techniques
· Ability to interpret complex information and regulations effectively
· Good planning and organisational skills
