Our client, a well established company that design and manufacture products for the defence industry are currently recruiting for two experienced CNC Operators/Programmers to work in their machine shop. One of the roles will suit someone with a milling bias, to operate a mill/turn and a milling machine. The other role will suit someone with a turning bias, to operate two lathes, one of which has a C-axis.
Person Specification:
· Time served with CNC operating/programming experience
· Experience of FANUC control
· Experience of mill/turn or c-axis is advantageous
· Experience working in precision engineering environments
· Positive attitude and ‘can do approach’
· Excellent time keeping and husbandry
· Available to work overtime
· Shift work - 1 wk earlys/1 wk lates
