Our client seeks an experienced Account Negotiator to be based in their modern building in the Kings Hills area of Maidstone, as an Account Negotiator you will be e responsible for handling a large volume of performing and/or non-performing accounts within a team, contacting customers, negotiating settlement or setting up payment plans for accounts. This is a 100% telephone based role, in a call centre environment, that requires excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Contacting customers by telephone to negotiate settlement of accounts or restructuring of current deal structures.
• Agree customer settlements or payment schemes in line with current collection strategies and obtain authorisation from the relevant functions when required.
• Handling a large volume of calls via the Dialler system and manual calling processes.
• Requesting any necessary documentation to be sent as needed to facilitate agreements with customers.
• Ensuring that the Company internal system is updated accurately with details of customer conversations and agreements
• Ensuring full compliance with legal and internal processes
• Processing direct debit and other payment methods
• Supporting team members with ad hoc tasks as necessary

Personal Attributes:
• Prior experience of working in a revenue based target environment
• Prior experience of working in a financial or professional services organisation
• Knowledge of Data Protection legislation
• Prior experience of sales
Associated Benefits:
Salary - £16,000 pa basic – OTE - £20,000 - £25,000
Contributory pension scheme after 1 year service
Working hours are as follows:
on 2 week basis
Week 1: (07.45-14.30)
Week 2: (14.15-21.00)
plus every other Saturday (8.45-13.30)
