Our client is a well established national leader within their industry and growing from strength to strength on a European level. They are seeking a customer service assistant to join their existing team to cover maternity leave (6 - 12 months). This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills and add to their experience.
Job Responsibilities:
As a customer service assistant you will be;
- Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints taken from a variety of sources, including mail, phone and email
- Managing complaints via an escalation process with local sites and regional businesses
- Working to company targets and deadlines to ensure a complaint/enquiry is resolved to the customer’s satisfaction within a set time frame
Preferred Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience dealing with inbound customer calls will be desirable
- Excellent keyboarding/computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office
- Confident letter writing skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative whilst remembering team’s objectives
- Able to work on own initiative & as part of a team

- Professional yet friendly telephone manner
- Quick learner and the ability to multi-task
