My client is a leading large retail head office, who is looking for an experienced Buyers Assistant to join their ever expanding team.
This is a long term temporary role with an opportunity to become permanent. We are looking for two candidates who can commit to this role indefinitely.
Your key responsibilities will include;
· Dealing with large volumes of administration work for the Buyer and Senior Buyer
· Maintaining the product and supplier files i.e. making changes as appropriate and ensuring information and the systems are always up to date.
· Monitoring product availability
· Dealing with queries from stores and ensuring these are always resolved
· Producing daily and weekly bulletins to keep various departments updated on the availability of products.
· Negotiation of prices
To be successful within this role you will have the following;
· A strong administration background, dealing with a variety of tasks and challenging work.
· Excellent excel skills and organisation skills are needed.
· Good communication skills.
· A previous background at retail head office level would be an advantage
This is a temporary role paying between £7.50 - £8.50 per hour.
The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
